6 Select a transaction that contains the license file name for the
switch you are replacing.
7 Click Replace Switch.
8 In Step 1: Enter Replacement MAC Address, enter the new
MAC address.
9 In Step 2: Select the MAC Address to Replace, select the
entry for the MAC address that you want to replace .
10 Click Replace Switch MAC. If MAC replacement fails, a
message appears—MAC swap is unsuccessful. Select a
different LAC entry and try again. If there are no other LAC
entries, contact Nortel Technical Support.
11 After the system displays the MAC swap successful message,
click Return to License Bank Details.
12 Select the transaction that contains the license file name
associated with the new MAC address.
13 Click Download.
