–
Class
•
This is a customizable attribute for accounting purposes. If defined at your RADIUS server, the AP will
pass this attribute to the Accounting server (if Accounting is enabled).
–
Session-Timeout
•
If the RADIUS server does not send a Session-Timeout, the AP will set the subscriber expiration time to
0, which means indefinite access.
•
There is a two-minute margin of error for this parameter. In other words, it can take between 1 and 120
seconds for the AP to send an accounting “stop” message after the Session-Timeout has expired.
–
Idle-Timeout
•
You can set a default time-out from the AP’s Network > Security > RADIUS screen. If the Radius server
does not send an Idle-Timeout in the RADIUS Access-Accept message, the AP will use the default one to
disconnect subscribers. The AP also uses the default timer if the Idle-Timeout attribute specifies a time
period greater than the default timeout.

–
Acct-Interim-Interval
•
Specifies the frequency with which the AP sends a RADIUS Accounting Interim message for the specific
subscriber. If this attribute is not present or equal to 0, no Interim message is sent. Note that the AP will
not send Interim messages more frequently than every 2 minutes.

Nomadix Vendor Specific Attributes
The AP-2500 supports the following Vendor Specific Attributes from Nomadix, Inc.:
•
Nomadix-Bw-Up (integer)
— This attribute value (in Kbps) restricts the speed at which subscriber uploads are performed.
•
Nomadix-Bw-Down (integer)
— This attribute value (in Kbps) restricts the speed at which subscriber downloads are performed.
•
Nomadix-URL-Redirection (string)
— This attribute allows the administrator to redirect the user to a page of the administrator's choice after
every successful login.
— This redirect command takes precedence over the
option.
— You need to enable the URL Redirection option in the Configure > Network > Security > RADIUS
screen if you want to use this attribute.
•
Nomadix-IP-Upsell (integer)
— This attribute allows the user to receive a public address from a DHCP pool (managed by the Relay
DHCP server) when the AP has the IP-Upsell feature enabled.
