The IEEE standards that governs wireless communications are different for the 2.4 GHz band and the 5 GHz band.
The table below compares the software features supported for each type of card in the AP-2500 device:
*This feature is not available if you are using an ORiNOCO 802.11a/b ComboCard or a non-ORiNOCO client with 802.11b.
