Chapter 4.
Recording Batch Data
Batch data is the actual information printed on the supply.
Batch data fills in the format’s text, bar code, and
non-printable text fields.
A batch consists of three parts:

Batch
Header
identifies the format to use for the batch
and how many labels to print.

Batch
Control
allows you to define the print job,
including the feed mode, batch separators,
and multi-part printing.

Batch
Data
is the actual information you put in the
format fields and that is printed on the
label.
Preparing the Batch Worksheet –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
To record batch data, make a copy of the worksheet in
Appendix E, "Format Design Tools." Use the copy and save
the original.
