Data Errors ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
Errors 001 to 249 are Data Errors. These errors are returned in
response to a J,3 request. Refer to Chapter 8, "Status Polling,"
for more information. A Data Error indicates that incorrect data
was received from the host, causing the printer to ignore the
entire print job. After checking the data stream and correcting
the problem, transmit the print job again.
The following is a list of data errors. Some of these errors
display different elements (batch, format, graphic, etc.),
depending on the type of data processed.

Format/ Batch ID number is invalid. Valid numbers
are 1 to 999.

Name is invalid. Valid name is 1 to 8 characters
inside quotes or a printer-assigned name ("").

Action is invalid. Must be A or C.

Supply length is invalid. Refer to "Defining the
Format Header" in Chapter 7 for valid lengths.
005
Supply width is invalid. Refer to "Defining the Format
Header" in Chapter 7 for valid widths.
006
Storage device is defined as something other than R.
007
Unit of measure is invalid. Must be E, M, or G. Refer
to "Defining the Format Header" in Chapter 7 for
information about valid measurements.
