Host Interface Menu

There are six menu items in the “Host Interface” menu.
• I/O Buffer
• I/O Timeout
• Network Setup
• IEEE 1394 Setup
• IEEE 802.11b
• USB Setting

Host Interface Parameters

Description

I/O Buffer

You can set the size of the I/O Buffer. Normally it is not necessary
to change this setting.
16 KB, 32 KB, 64 KB, 128 KB, 256 KB, 512 KB

❒ Default: 128 KB

I/O Timeout

You can set how many seconds the printer waits before ending a
print job if more data is not received when using parallel interface
and USB. If data from another port often appears in the middle of
a print job, you should increase the timeout value.

10 seconds, 15 seconds, 20 seconds, 25 seconds, 60 seconds

❒ Default: 15 seconds
