The UFS 922 can operate as both a UPnP media client
and a UPnP media server. Further information about
UPnP can be found on the Internet at “www.upnp.org”.
UPnP media client:
Streaming from external devices to the UFS 922
UPnP media server:
Streaming from the UFS 922 to external devices
UPnP client/server functionality (UPnP = Universal Plug and Play)
To use these functions, the correct settings must be made for the firewall running on the
PC/notebook. You may need to add the UFS 922 to the firewall exclusion list.
Use the

buttons to select the source directory.
Open using the

button.
Media data from the following connected devices can be
played back:
- Internal hard disk (media archive)
- USB storage media (FAT/FAT32 or NTFS formatted)
- UPnP servers in the network and detected (e.g.
XMBC server, Twonky Media Server, other UFS 922
units etc.)
Playing media files (selecting source directory)
Use the

buttons to select the first picture in your
slide show. Press the

button to start the slide show.
JPEG playback
NTFS formatted USB storage media can only be read by the UFS 922, not written. It is not possible
to copy recordings from the UFS 922’s internal hard disk to external NTFS formatted USB storage
media!
