Step by Step
Save the settings.
The rhythm of tones 1 to 3 is set for a call by the com-
munication system. It may, therefore, differ from the
tones set for the handset.
Advisory tones
The advisory tones have the following meaning:

Open the main menu of the handset.

Select the menu item and confirm.
Please make sure that you have picked up the call
before holding the phone to your ear. This is to
ensure that the loud ringing tone does not cause
damage to your hearing.

Every keystroke is confirmed.
Confirmation
tones
• Confirmation tone (crescendo
tone sequence) when saving
inputs/settings and when plac-
ing the handset in the charging
shell
• Error beep (decrescendo tone
sequence) to signal incorrect
inputs
• End-of-menu beep at the menu
end
Battery tone
The batteries need charging.
