Setting the handset

You can change the standard settings of the handset if

you are not happy with them.

Setting the speaker volume

You can adjust the speaker volume during a call. The fol-

lowing volumes are adjustable:

• Volume in handset mode. Three volume levels are

possible.

• Volume in speakerphone mode. Five volume levels

are possible. You can only change the speakerphone

volume if the speakerphone is active (Æ page 32).

You are on a call.

either:

Open the menu for setting the volume. The volume

menu for either handset mode or speakerphone mode

is displayed.

or:

Open the menu if the upper side of the Control key is

programmed with another function, for example, when

toggling.

Select the menu item and confirm.

then:

Define the setting.

Press the display key if you want to permanently save

the setting.

a Press the On-hook key to end the process.
