Conducting calls – the basic functions

Step by Step
First seize the line, then dial
c or d Press and hold down the Talk key or press the Speaker-
phone key.

Enter the required phone number. The user will be
called.
Typing errors cannot be corrected. If you make a typing
error, press the On-hook key.

The user answers. You conduct the call.

The user is busy. You can save a callback request
(Æ page 5).
a Press the On-hook key to end the process.

acters as necessary using the "Delete" display key.

The following functions are available while you are
entering the phone number:
• "Copy to Directory" (save the phone number in the
handset’s redial list)
• "Insert Pause" (insert a dial pause, for example,
between the prefix and phone number or when
checking a mailbox)
• "Insert TBR" (irrelevant)
c or d Press the Talk key or Speakerphone key within 30 sec-
onds. The user will be called.
