Configuring the System Operation Mode
You have to configure gateway operation mode and PCM type, after TCP/IP configuration.
This section describes procedures for system operation configuration.
Setting up Gateway Operation Mode
SMG-3200 gateway operates in either of the following 2 operation modes.
Tandem Gateway : SMG-3200 communicates with PBX or KTS over PSTN trunk without
subscriber phone connection.
Standalone Gateway : SMG-3200 communicates with analog telephone with PSTN trunk
with subscriber phone connection through SLC port.
