STEP 6: S TART S OCKET S CAN
Double-click on the SocketScan icon on your desktop.
When SocketScan is running, the SocketScan icon will appear in the task tray
at the bottom of your screen.
Icon Meaning
The scanner is not connected
to the computer.
The scanner is connected to
the computer
Spinning icon alternates between
handheld and ring scanner icons.
SocketScan is ready for the
Bluetooth CHS to connect to
the computer with
ActivePairing.
Note: For Windows 7, if you started SocketScan but the SocketScan task tray
icon does not appear, click on the
t
icon in the task tray to reveal additional
task tray icons.
