Measuring distances
Two points are required to measure a distance.
 Press the Distance Measurement key. The Probe
Distance screen will be displayed. Press the key
twice to measure a series of distances using auto
repeat.
 Move the stage to position the crosshairs over the
first of the two points and press the ENTER key.
 Move the stage to position the crosshairs over the
second of the two points, and press the ENTER key.
 Press the FINISH key to complete the measurement.
The X, Y and vector distances will be shown and the
distance feature will be added to the feature list.
 When a Z-axis is used, press the Left or Right Arrow
key to toggle the display between the vector distance
(L) and the Z height if desired. Z-axis height is not
used in the calculation of vector distance.
