No or erratic camera control
Camera
Ensure all devices are powered.
Verify that the camera was properly
selected (Refer to
).
Access the TCP/IP NETWORK dialog
box and verify camera IP address is
displayed. (Refer to
.) If not verify
correct IP address setup for pan/tilt
head and SHOT Director controller
(Refer to
).
Verify soft stops are set properly
(Refer to
Ensure PAN/TILT sliders are not set to
zero (full down position).
In multiple camera systems, select
another camera and verify that it can
be controlled. If selected camera can-
not be controlled, troubleshoot SHOT
Director and hub. If selected camera
can be controlled, troubleshoot failed
camera. (Refer to camera manual).
Network hub
Ensure all devices are powered.
Use crossover cable between SHOT
Director controller and pan/tilt head to
bypass the hub. If SHOT Director con-
troller does not control the camera,
troubleshoot the SHOT Director con-
troller. If SHOT Director controller
controls the camera, replace the hub.
SHOT Director controller
Ensure all devices are powered.
Verify that the SHOT Director controls
operate properly (Refer to
).
