Service
General
The SHOT Director™ Robotics/Camera Controller contains no user-ser-
viceable parts. Refer any servicing to an authorized Grass Valley reseller or
contact Grass Valley Customer Support directly (See Contacting Grass
Valley
on page 4 ).
Troubleshooting
Should problems occur with the SHOT Director controller, please refer to
the following troubleshooting matrix (
Table 3 ). If questions or problems
still exist after troubleshooting, please contact your authorized Grass
Valley reseller or contact Grass Valley Customer Support directly. (See
Contacting Grass Valley
on page 4 .).

Power Mains power OFF. Energize Mains power
Power supply not connected to Mains Connect power supply to Mains
Power supply not properly connected
to SHOT Director controller. Ensure power supply is properly con-
nected to the SHOT Director controller
5 V dc plug on the rear panel (Refer to
Connect Power Supply on page 38 ).
Power supply failure Using a voltmeter, check for 5 V dc at
the output plug of the power supply. If
5 V dc is not present, replace the
power supply.
