Adding New Events
To record events, you add a scheduled event for each event you want to record. You
provide information about the event and Scheduler adds the event to the record
schedule.
To add a new event:
1. Select the channel where you want to record the event. If you do not select a
channel, Scheduler automatically assigns a channel.
2. Click
Add Event
.
The Add Event dialog box appears:
3. Fill out the information for the event you are scheduling:
• Template—Select a template from the dropdown list.
Templates save information such as clip location and recording channel so that
you can save time on repeated ingests. See
“Creating a Template” on page 86
.
• Clip Title—Enter a name for the scheduled event, if you want to.
