7.5 Appendix E - Using third-party terminal emulators
There are a number of terminal emulator programs that you can use to
access the serial ports of the digitiser and the optional networking
interface. The terminal emulator built into Scream! is recommended
but, if this is not available, there are a variety of alternatives. Three of
these are detailed below.
7.5.1 Hyperterminal, as provided with Windows XP.
Click on “Start” and then on “Run”.
Enter 'hypertrm' and click on 'OK'.
The program will ask you for a name for the connection:
Enter any suitable name, then click OK.
