Graphical Window
The graphical window shown below, establishes settings for displaying icons in the main TMA window
and audible notifications. The settings are explained below.
Table 36. Graphical Inactive Notification
Parameter Function
No Notification
When selected, no graphical or audio notifications are provided.
InActive Only
When selected, telephone icons are displayed with a red “X” as shown in
the example to the right. If sound is enabled, an audible notification will
be provided.
Inactive Icon
Exceptions
Only
When selected, telephone icons are displayed with a yellow “X” as
shown in the example to the right. If sound is enabled, an audible
notification will be provided.
Exception Icon
Both Inactive
and Exception
When selected, telephone icons are displayed with either a yellow (Exceptions) icon, or a
red (Inactive) icon with the red (Inactive) icon having precedence. If sound is enabled, an
audible notification is provided.
Notification
Interval
Defines how often TMA scans the database for telephones with an inactive or exception
status. The default time setting is 1 minute.
Sound Play
Count
A number entered in this field determines how many times TMA will output an audible
notification when an inactive or exception telephone is encountered in the database scan.
The default is zero times.
Enable Sound
When checked, the audible notification is enabled when TMA finds an inactive or
exception telephone.
Set Sound File Click on this button to change the default notification sound to a new sound file on the
PC. The file is selected through a standard Open File window, as shown on the next page.
Missed Call-In
Grace Period
This is an override for all phones scheduled to call-in. The default value is 60 minutes
which means, after 60 minutes past the scheduled call-in time, if the phone did not
successfully call-in, that phone will be declared as Inactive – No Recent Health Update.
