VoIP Alarm Notification Report
A VoIP Alarm Notification report lists each alarm or input that was triggered by a VoIP phone resulting
in a SYSLOG message broadcasting to the IP address of the TMA PC. For TMA to receive the
notifications, each alarm and input must be configured in the phone with the “REPORT” field set to
“ON+OFF” and the “SYSLOG” field set to “ON”. N
OTE
: TMA will store the last known “MSG” field
value in the database received during polling. If the value in the phone is changed and TMA has not
polled the phone, when an alarm or input is triggered, TMA will not be able to report the correct alarm or
input triggered.
