General Options
There are two separate behaviors that operate independently, but share the SMTP Settings and E-mail
Addresses. These General Options and behaviors are explained below.
Parameter Function
Critical Faults
Notification
E-mail
Enabling this behavior will cause TMA to compose and send an automated e-mail
after a telephone has been polled or called in with a newly discovered fault. It will
be sent using the SMTP Settings to the configured E-mail Addresses using the
Custom E-mail for Critical Faults.
Send After
Every Call With
Faults
If Critical Faults Notification E-mail is enabled and this option is enabled, then TMA
will send a Critical Faults Notification E-mail after every call that contains any
critical failures. If this option is disabled, then TMA will only send the initial
Critical Faults Notification for the telephone with the faults, but ignore all
subsequent calls indicating a critical failure.
Send ‘Fault
Cleared’
Confirmation
If Critical Faults Notification E-mail is enabled and this option is enabled, then TMA
will send an e-mail confirming that the last contact made with the telephone
contained no faults.
Automated
Reports E-mail
Enabling this behavior will cause TMA to compose and send an automated e-mail for
every scheduled automated report. This applies to the daily, weekly and at the end of
polling if enabled. TMA will send a separate e-mail for each Automated Report with
the report as an html attachment.
Disable Printing If Automated Reports E-mail is enabled and this option is enabled, then TMA will e-
mail the automated report(s) but not send the report(s) to the default printer.
