Upon completion of the desired long-term test duration, the user can review
pacemaker output pulses falling outside these test limits.
Interactive Pacemaker / ECG Simulation
The pacemaker responds to a wide range of simulated ECG signals using the
Analyzer test feature. Several variables are user selectable to best simulate
actual “real life” conditions.
Simulated ECG Rate
The Analyzer outputs either asystole or a normal sinus rhythm (NSR) at rates
covering the bradycardia, normal, and tachycardia range.
Adjustable Threshold Level
When the pacemaker output current exceeds the threshold amplitude setting (in
milliamperes), the Analyzer generates a simulated ventricular “paced” beat.
The pacemaker output current level required to effect “ventricular capture” is
selectable by the user.
Operational Modes
Three simulated operational modes are available in the Analyzer
Continuous
The user selects a rate, and the Analyzer generates a simulated ECG signal.
The threshold interaction with the pacemaker is observed. No normal sinus
rhythm (NSR) output is available in this operational mode.
Non-Capture
The Analyzer operates in “continuous mode”. However, every 8th expected
“ventricular capture” event is skipped. No normal sinus rhythm (NSR) output
is available in this operational mode.
