Field Description
Active Processor Cores Shows the number of cores to enabled in each processor
package.
Intel® HT Technology When disabled, only one thread per enabled core is displayed.
CPU Flex Ratio Settings This value must be between Max efficiency ratio and Max non-
turbo ratio.
Enabled XD Enabled Execute Disabled functionality. Also known as Data
Execution Prevention (DEP).
Intel® Virtualization
Technology When enabled, a VMM can utilize the additional hardware
capabilities.
Fast Boot Memory
Initialization Enable this to reduce the amount of time spent initializing
memory during a cold boot.
Processor Power Management Processor power management configuration, see later
description.

Enables processor performance states (P-States).
Turbo Mode Enables processor Turbo Mode. EMTTM must also be enabled.
C-States Enables processor idle power saving states (C-States).

C6-State Enables processor idle power saving C6 state.
C7-State Enables processor idle power saving C7 state.
