LUN Mapping
NOTE:
Refer to sections "2 SCSI Params" and "5 NVRAM" of this User's Guide for further
information.
1.
After the array and partitions have been created, each partition needs to be as-
signed a LUN and mapped to the appropriate SCSI Channel.

Press

Enter password (default password = 00000000).

Select 2 SCSI Params and press
a.
Select the SCSI channel your host server is connected to (Primary or Sec-
ondary SCSI) and press
b.
Select 2.1.4 LUN MAP and press
c.
Starting with LUN 0, assign one LUN number to each partition (slice) of each
array.
Select LUN number and press
d.
After selecting LUN number, select the array the partition is in and press
e.
Select the partition (slice) you would like to assign this LUN number to and
press
Slices always start with “00” and increase sequentially according to the
number of partitions that have been created.

Press

Arrow down and select 5 NVRAM. Press
7.
Select 5.1 Update NVRAM and press
Select Yes and press
8.
Select 5.3 Restart and press
Select Yes and press
9.
Controller will now reboot (LUN will be mapped upon reboot).
