The following entries are displayed on this screen:
Syslog Hosts
Index: Displays the Index of the Syslog Host. The Switch supports up to 4
Syslog Hosts.
Host IP: Confi gure the IP for the Syslog Host.
UDP Port: Displays the UDP Port used for Receiving/Sending log information. The
default is Port 514.
Severity: Specifi es the Severity Level of the log information to be sent to each
Syslog Host. Only logs with the same or smaller Severity Level value
will be sent to the corresponding Syslog Host.
Status: Enable/Disable the Syslog Host.
CAUTION: Syslog Confi g settings will be restored to defaults if
the Switch is restarted and you have not selected Save
Confi g from the main menu and saved your running
confi guration to non-volatile memory.
16.2.4 Backup Log
The Backup Log feature allows the system logs saved in the Switch to be output as a fi le
for device diagnosis and statistics analysis.
Choose the menu Maintenance>>Log>>Backup Log File to load the following page:
