Manual Buttonholing
NOTE:
Do not put finger, screw driyer or
any other object near under the
sensor when sewing buttonholes by
using sliding buttonhole foot J,
otherwise the sewmg procedure m
the pattern indicator may advance
to the next slap.

b. Change to the sliding buttonhole foot.
c. Insert the garment under the foot with
the buttonhole marking running toward
you.
Slide both threads to the left.
Move the sJider (Aj away from you so
that the bottom mark fC} on the slider
meets the start mark {Bj.
b. Line up the markings on the foot with
the bottom mark on your garment.
c. Lower the presser fool and press BH 1
(bar-tack) button.
NOTE: The markings on the slider are engraved
m centimeters.
(3) The machine will automatically banack and
sew up the left side of the buttonhole.
Stop the machine at the top mark.
