SECTION 5. LEARN THE STITCHES
Automatic Darning
Hie Konmore 100 SiUcb auiomatically
darns rips and holes. Large and small
holes can be mended quickly and easily
with this unique stitch.
Suiionhole toot J is used to hold the
fabric securely while doming.
For extra support, or strengthen the darn,
pin or baste a backing tabne such as
organdy under the hole to be darned.
Press down the toot coniroL The
machine will lock the stitches, sew 16
rows ot darning, lock the stitches and
stop automatically.
Keep the toot control depressed until
the machine stops sewing.
For extra strength on blue jeans or
other work clothes the darn can be
fsmtorced as shown above.
The finished darn measures 2,0 cm
long by 0,7 cm (1/4"j wide.
if hole fs larger, move the fabric and
sew additional darning units untii the
hole IS covered.
