SECTION 4. PRACTICE COMPON STITCHING SKILLS
Turn a Square Corner
"Hie sewing covered in this section require some
special skills. For all other stitches, your machine
does most ot the work. Even If you are skilled at
these stitches, you will want to learn the features
of this machine that may be new to you.
Use the Seam Guides
measure seam width. The lines are 1/8"
with The 5/8" and 7/8" lines marked.

Stop stitching and lower the needle by pressing the Up/Down Needle
Position button when the fabric edge facing you lines up with the
cornering guide, as shown,

Raise the presser toot and turn the fabric to line the edge with the 5/8"
seam guide.
3.
Lower the presser toot and begin stitching m the new direction.
