The Satin smch is a versatils and oUen used
decorative stitch, but U can also be used to
overcast a raw edge ifor example, blankets,
linens, tablecloths and napkins).
Tltfi Satin stitch is especmUy attractive in
applique and is the basis tor the geometric

on machine.

Once your machine is set up to stitch, you may want to experiment on a
iragmeni ot the fabric you are planning to use. Too tight o satin stitch may
pucker some lightweight fabrics.
Otherwise, stitch as usual.
