The needle has three positions:
fell, center and fight.
SECTION 5. LEARN THE STITCHES
Press the stitch width control button.
Press the stitch length/width decrease button.
The suich lengih/width indicator will show
"L" or left needle position.

NOTE: Left or right needle position is recommended for stitching edge of the tabric.
Besides the normal straight stitch method of topsmching, this machine does other types ot
topstitching that are better tor knits or produce a more elaborate decorative effect.
Always use zigzag toot A tor left and right needle position.
