SECTION 7 TAKING FINAL DO READINGS
7.1 SELECTING A BATCH
From the main bench sheet window, simply enter the sample date for the batch you would like to
take readings for. Alternatively, click the List Open Batches button (See Section 5.2, Loading a
Batch for more information) to select a batch that is not yet complete. The batch will be
displayed. Below is an example of a batch ready for final DOs to be read.
7.2 AT THE YSI 5100 DO INSTRUMENT
Select Read/Finals from the BOD Analyst software Main Menu. The YSI 5000/5100 DO
Instrument display will look like this:
To begin taking measurements, press CONFIRM. A typical display during finals would be:
