54 Playback Options
Forward and Reverse Searching (SP/LP/SLP)
When in Play mode, press and release the Fast Forward/Search/+
button or the Rewind/Search/- button.A iast forward or reverse
picture search will begin.
To return to normal playback, press the Play/A button.
Super High Speed Searching (LP/SLP)
When in Play mode, press the Fast Forward/Search/+ button or
the Rewind/Search/“ button,then press again.TheTV/VCR will
now search in super high speed.
To return to normal playback, press the Play/A button.
Viewing a Still Picture
When in Play mode, press the PAUSE/STILL button. A still picture
(frozen image) will appear on-screen.
To advance the still picture frame-by-frame, press the F(rame).
ADV(ance) button.
To release the still picture and return to normal playback, press
the Play/A button.
Viewing a Slow Hotion Picture
When in Play mode, press the SLOW button. The tape will play in
slow motion.
NOTETou
can control the speed of slow motion playback by pressing
the VAR(iabfe). SLOW buttons.
To release Slow mode and return to normal playback, press the
Play/A button.

• Slow and Still mode will automati
cally switch to Stop mode after five
minutes to protect the TV/VCR and
the tape from
damage.
SP/LP/SLP means this feature will
work v/ith tapes recorded In
Standard Play, Long Play, or Super
