EJECT Button
Press to eject the tape.
VCR PLUS+/ENTER Button
Press to set a Timer Recording widi the VCR Plus+ programming system.

Play/A Button
Press to play a tape. Also, press to release Slow, Search, or Still mode and
to return to normal playback.

in the pop up menu.
Fast Forward/Sewch/+ Button
When tape playback is stopped, press to fast forward the tape at high
speed. During tape playback, press to fast forward white the picture stays
on-screen.

>Stop/T Button
Press to stop the tape. Press to select an item in tfie pop up menu.
Rewind/Search/- Button
When tape playback is stopped, press to rewind the tape at high speed.
During playback, press to rewind the tape while the picture stays on­
screen.

Use to selert channels at theTV/VCR Cable Box, or Digital Satellite
System; to select on-screen menus; and to program TV/VCR functions (suchi
as setting the clock).
Channels i - 9
To select, press 0, then press the channel you want. For example, to select
channel 7, press 0,7.
O Channels 100 and above
To select, press the 100 button, then press the last two digits of the channel
you want. For example, to select channel 117, press the 100 button, 1,7.
INDEX SEARCH Button
Press to fast forward or rewind to the starting points of programs that you
have recorded on a tape. Deio/fe are on page 52.
SKIP SEARCH Button
Press during playback to fast forward past 30 seconds of the tape. Press
up to six times in a row to skip up to three minutes of the tape.
SMART SOUND Button
Press to turn the Smart Sound feature on or off. Details are on page 28.
REC(ord)/OTR Button
Press once to start a recording.
Details are on page 33.
Or, press three to 18 times to start a one touch recording {an immediate
recording, 30 minutes to eight hours long) of the channel you are watch­
ing.

MENU Button
Press to bring up the main menu display. You may also use the buttons
on the front panel of theTV/VCR to access the pop up menu.
