Obtain a new battery from your dealer

Memory Transfer copies data

from a memory channel to the
VFO correctly, but turning the
Tuning control causes the
frequency to jump to a
different part of the band.

The frequency is jumping to be within
the Programmable VFO limits.

Change the Programmable VFO limits.

Band Scan only scans a
narrow range of frequencies;

the entire band cannot be

scanned.

You are actually using Programmable

Band Scan because you have selected

a VFO frequency within the limits for

Programmable Band Scan.

Select a frequency that is outside the
limits set for Programmable Band Scan,

then press [VFO] (1 s).
