Maintaining The User Dictionary
The capacity oftheuser dictionary in memory is limited to around 203 words, so its agood
idea to delete words you no longer need, You may also wish to save the user dictionary
on disk, or load a dictionary into memory from disk.
To maintain the user dictionary in either
TW
or
WP
mode, call up the
SPELL
menu, then
press
[3]
to select
USER DICT.
The following display will appear.

Deleting Words From The User Dictionary
To delete a.word from the user dictionary, call up the
USER DICT.
menu as above, then
press
[1]
to select
DEL ONE,
The following message will appear.
-^SELECT WITH
lardyark
PRESS RETURN TO DELETE-
The fir^ word in your user dictionary will appear on the screen. To see other words, use
[INDEX]
and
[R INDEX]
to scroll the display.
Pressing
[RELOC]
will take you immediately to the end of the user dictionary.
Pressing
[EXPR]
will take you immediately to the beginning of the user dictionary.
To move quickly to a particular letter in the user dictionary, press
[CODE] + [GO TO],
then the letter.
When the word you wish to delete is in the display, press the
[RETURN]
key.
To avoid the possibility of a mistake, you will be asked to confirm the deletion.
