4-2-2 Wiring the Power OFF Input Terminals
The Power OFF input is used to turn off and on the connected SL-C series and the SL-R12EX using the
external input from the SL-R11E.
This input cannot be used when the SL-U2 power supply is connected to the side of the SL-R11E with a
connector.
This input can only be used when a power supply such as the SL-U2 is connected to pin No. 8 and pin No.9
of the I/O terminal.

Timing chart
• The Power OFF input cannot be used as an emergency stop input. When using
the emergency stop function, be sure to use the E-STOP input.
• If the SL-C series and the SL-R11E are used as trip devices, start interlock must
be set.
• Use a normally open switch for the switch used for the Power OFF input.
• Use the switch that has 24 VDC or more for the switch used for the Power OFF
input.
