• Waveforms of control outputs
The SL-R11E performs a self-diagnosis test for the output circuit when all beam axes are clear of any
obstruction and the OSSD is in an ON-state. This self-diagnosis function periodically turns OFF the
OSSD output.
The OSSD output is monitored by the SL-R11E and, if the OFF state signal is fed back, the SL-R11E
determines that the output circuit operates normally.
On the other hand, if the OFF state signal is not fed back, the SL-R11E determines that an error has
occurred in the output circuit or wiring and goes into a lockout condition.
For this reason, all the other devices used to receive the SL-R11E OSSD output must be of the type
that does not respond to this periodic off state.
