WARNING
• The TEST input cannot be used as an emergency stop input. Be sure to use the
E-STOP input when using the emergency stop function.
• If the SL-C series and the SL-R11E are used as trip devices, restart interlock
must be set.
2-7 Power OFF Input
The Power OFF input is used to turn off and on the connected SL-C series and the SL-R12EXusing the
external input from the SL-R11E.
When an error occurs in the SL-C series or other units, the SL-R11E is locked out and the OSSD holds OFF.
Using this input after removing the error cause cancels the lockout state and restores the unit to the normal
state.
This input cannot be used when the SL-U2 power supply is connected to the side of the SL-R11E with a
connector.
This input can only be used when the power supply is connected to pin No. 8 and pin No.9 of the I/O terminal.
If the SL-C series and the SL-R11E are used as trip devices, start interlock must
be set.
2-8 OSSD Output
The OSSD output is the PNP open collector control output of the SL-R11E.
There are two OSSD outputs, OSSD1 and OSSD2. They both have the same operation, but if the one of the
outputs is damaged, the other output is forcibly turned off.
2-9 AUX Output
The AUX output is used to monitor the SL-R11E’s OSSD status using a PLC, etc. The AUX output has the PNP
open collector output and the NPN open collector output that operate as the OSSD does, but cannot be used to
build a safety system.
