Comparator Value (P.V. Value)

The assigned positions for comparator values vary with different operating modes.

For details of communication methods, see

"Reading comparator values (P.V.

values) from sensor amplifiers" (page 3-18).

If the calculation setting is set to the calculation mode and the appli-
cation is set to other than standard difference, the main unit cannot
read the comparator value (P.V. value). Both the main unit and the
expansion unit read the raw value (R.V. value).
When you read the comparator value (P.V. value) from the main unit,
use explicit messaging or the calculation-only mode.
