Once a GOTO is activated, the navigation page will
display the bearing and distance to the destination, along
with your present speed and track over ground. The
GOTO destination is listed above the course deviation
indicator, with your estimated time enroute, cross track
error and time displayed at the bottom of the page. A rel
ative bearing pointer, located above the GDI scale, points
to the direction of your destination.
Simulated Speed Entry
Now you’ll need to enter a speed for the aircralt:
1.
Highlight the 'SPEED'field.
2. Press and to enter a speed of 150 knots.
3. Press to confirm the speed.
Once a speed has been entered, the navigation page
will continuously update as we make our way to the des
tination airport. We now need to enter the cruising alti
tude of our flight, which can be entered from the position
page:
1.
Press tJntil the position page appears.
2.
Move the field highlight to the 'ALT' field.
3. Enter an altitude of 2,500 feet and press
confirm.
