press SET.

PASSWORD 6. If you must also enter an ITU-T password, press PASSWORD. Otherwise,
just go on to the next step.
PASSWORD
You must press PASSWORD within 5 seconds of pressing SET. If you wait longer
than the timeout interval before pressing PASSWORD, the fax will start scanning
the document. The timeout interval can be turned off. (
