This section describes all front panel controls and the liquid crystal display (LCD). Operating instructions are
covered in later sections.

Control Groups
Primary Controls (see page 12): These switches
are hard-coded with permanent function
assignments. They provide the most important
operational features needed for basic panadapter
operation, including display options, amplitude
scaling, frequency control and markers. Programmable Function Switches (see page 13):
The function keys may be assigned to any of the
functions in the
M E N U list. These include less-used
operational features, test functions, and setup and
calibration routines.
