Thank you for choosing a Canon camera.
In order to use this camera correctly, please read through
these instructions carefully and practice using the
camera.
This is a fully automafic camera which can be used on
land or in water. Taking pictures on land is easy since the
AiAF (Smart AF) function (—>54) automatically detects the
subject and focuses.
• Features
1. Usable anywhere. Use it in the mountains or at the
beach.
2. Waterproof. Take pictures up to 5m/16.4ft.
underwater.
3. Washable. Keep clean by washing with water.
4. Large, easy-to-see viewfinder. Compose pictures
comfortably even when you are wearing goggles.
5. Underwater macro function. Take underwater close-
ups.
6. Fligh-precision active AiAF (Smart AF) function.
Take pictures using a focus range from 0.45m/1.5ft.
to infinity.
