Description: Returns details of a square matrix.
Access: Matrices, R (R1 ces ) operations
Input: A square matrix
Output: Level 4/Item 1: The determinant.
Level 3/Item 2: The formal inverse.
Level 2/Item 3: The matrix coefficients of the
polynomial, p, defined by
(a'i-a)p(.r)=?n,(x)i, where a is the matrix, and m is the
characteristic polynomial of a.
Level 1/Item 4: The characteristic polynomial.
Flags: Exact mode must be set (flag -105 clear).
Numeric mode must not be set (flag -03 clear).
MENUXY
Type: Command
Description: Displays a fimction key menu of the computer algebra
commands in the specified range.
Access: Catalog, ®
Input: Level 2/Ai'gument 1: The number of the first command in
the range that you want to display.
Level 1/Argument 2: The number of the last conmiand in
the range that you want to display.
Output: On the fimction key menu, a list of the computer algebra
commands in the range that you specified.
MODSTO
Type: Command
Description: Changes the modulo setting to the specified number.
The number that you set is reflected in the CAS Modes
input form.
Access: Arithmetic, R(MTH) MODULO
Input: The modulo value that you want to set.
Output: The modulo setting is changed to the specified number.
