Displaying recording data - data code
function
You can display recording data (date/time or various^ttings when recorded) on the
LCD screen or in the viewfinder during playback - Data Code function. When
DISPLAY in the menu is set to V-OLJT/LCD, the Data Code is also displayed on the TV.
You can only operate with the Remote Commander.
Press DATA CODE on the Remote Commander during playback.
To select the items to display
Set DATA CODE in the menu system, and sdect the following items:
When DATE/CAM is selected: date/time —► various settings (Steady Shot, white
balance, gain, shutter speed, aperture value) —► no indicator.
When DATE is selected: date/time*—► no Indicator.
When bars (----------- ) appear
• A blank portion of the tape is being played back.'
• The tape was recorded by a camcorder without having date and time set.
• The tape is unreadable due to tape damage or noise.
