Date search
You can automatically search for the point where the recording date changes and start
playback from that point
(Date search).
Use a tape with cassette memory for
convenience. You can do this with the Remote Commander.
Use this function to check where recordmg dates change or to edit the tape at each
recording date.
You can use this function only when playing back a tapewith cassette memory (p. 109).

Set the POWER switch to VTR.

Set CM SEARCH in
BH
to ON in the MENU settings (p. 72). Factory'setting is
ON.

Press SEARCH MODE repeatedly, until the date search indicator appears.
The indicator changes as follows:
TITLE SEARCH -* DATE SEARCH -♦ PHOTO SEARCH -» PHOTO SCAN
—► no indicator

or to select the date for playback.
Your camcorder automatically starts playback at the beginning of the selected
date.
