The life of the battery pack
If the battery indicator flashes rapidly just after
turning on the camcorder with a fully charged
battery pack, the battery pack should be replaced
with a new fully charged one.
Charging temperature
You should charge batteries at temperatures from
30°F to 86^F (fromlO°C to 30°C). Lower
temperatures require a longer charging time.
Notes on charging
A brand-new battery pack
A brand-new battery pack is not charged. Before
using the battery pack, charge it completely.
Recharge the battery pack whenever
you like
You do not ha\ e to discharge it before
recharging. If vou charged the battery pack fully
but you did not use it for a long time, it becomes
discharged. Then recharge the battery pack
before use.
Notes on the terminals
If the terminals (metal parts on the back)
are not clean, the battery charge duration
will be shortened.
When the terminals are not clean or rvhen the
battery pack has not been used for a long time,
repeatedly install and remove the battery pack a
few times. This improves the contact condition.
Also, wipe the * and - terminals with a soft cloth
or paper.
Be sure to observe the following
• Keep the batter\' pack away from fire.
• Keep the batterv pack dry.
• Do not open nor try to disassemble the batterv
pack.
• Do not expose the batterv pack to an\'
mechanical shock
Duración del paquete de baterías
Si el indicador de la batería parpadea
rápidamente inmediatamente después de

baterías totalmente cargado, el paquete debe

Notas sobre ios conectores
Sí los conectores (componentes metálicos
de la parte trasera) no están limpios, la
duración de la carga de la batería será
más corta.
Cuando los conectores no están limpios o no ha
utilizado el paquete de baterías durante un largo
período de tiempo, instalo y retire repetidamente
el paquete varias v’eces. De este modo mejorará
las condiciones de contacto. Limpie también los
conectores + v - con un papel o un trapo suave.
Observe lo siguiente
• Mantenga el paquete de baterías alejado del
fuego.
• Mantenga e) paquete de baterías seco.
• .\c) abra ni intente desmontar el paquete de
baterías.
• No expoiiga el paquete de baterías a golpes
mecánicos.
