Writing the RC time code on
a recorded tape

To write the RC time code from the
end of the RC time code recorded
portion
Rewind the tape to the portion on which the RC
time code has been written and set the camcorder
to playback pause mode. Then follow steps 4
and 5 on the previous page. The RC time code is
written continuously-
Notes on writing the RC time code
• The RC time code writing stops when:
- you press TIMH CODi: WRU H again before
starting playback.
- you press INDTX before starting playback.
- you change from playback mode to another
mode.
• When you are writing the RC time code from
the middle of a tape without the time code
written, writing starts several frames before the
current picture.
• If vou write the RC time code on a recorded
tape, the Data Code and index signal are
erased.
•You cannot mark the RC tiiru' code on a tape
with its record protect tab out (red).
• When you are writing the i'^C time code, the
sound cannot be heard and a black band
appears at the bottom of the picture. This does
not aftect the picture and sound that are
already recorded.
Note on indicator
The indicator appears during playback if;
• nothing is recorded.
• the RC time code is unreadable because of the
damage ot the tape or because of the noise.
• you recorded using anotiier VCR without RC
time code function.
• you erase the index signal or make PCM after
recording on another VX7R in the portiiin on
which the RC time code is written.
In this case, we recommend you t(' rewrite the
RC time code.
Para escribir el código de tiempos RC

Rebobine la cinta hasta la porción en que se haya
escrito el código de tiempos RC y ajuste la
yideocámara en modo de pausa de reproducción.
Después siga los pasos 4 y 5 de la página
anterior. El código de tiempos RC se escribirá
continuamente.
Notas sobre la escritura del código de tiempos
RC
• La escritura del código de tiempos RC se
detiene cuando;
- se vuelve a pulsar TIME CODE WRITE antes de
empezar la reproducción
- se pulsa INDEX antes de empezar la
reproducción.
- se cambia de modo de reproducción a otro
modo.
• Cuando se escribe el código de tiempos RC
desde el medit) de una cinta que no contiene el
código de tiempos escrito, la escritura comienza
varios fotogramas antes de la imagen actual.
• Si escribe el código de tiempos RC en una cinta
grabada, el código de datos \' la señal de índice
se borrarán.
• El código de tiempos RC no puede marcarse en
cintas con la lengüeta de protección contra
graban ión al descubierto (roja).
• Ai escribir el código de tiempos RC, el sonido
no se escuchará v aparecerá una banda negra en
la parte interior de la imagen. Esto no afecta a la
imagen ni al sonido va grabados.
Nota sobre el indicador
El indicador aparece durante la
reproducción si;
• no se graba nada.
• el código de tiempos RC e^ ilegible por i'star la
cinta dañada o por ruidos.
• ha grabado con otra vide(>grabadora que no
posee función de código Je tiempos RC.
• ha borrado la señal de índice o ha realizado un
reproducción ECM después de grabar en otra
\ádeograbadora en la porción en que se ha
escrito ei codígo de tiempos RC.
En este cas(\ es recomendable \‘oh'er a escribir el
código de tiempti^ RC'.
