adapter is connected to an AC outlet and the
computer.

amber light — Solid amber indicates the power
adapter is connected to an AC outlet but not the
computer.

green light for 10-Mb operation; orange light for 100-
Mb operation; yellow light for a 1000-Mb (1-Gb)
