location. This is critical to ensuring proper lightning
protection. Refer to the National Fire Protection Association
(NFPA) Standard 70 National Electrical Code (NEC) Article
250 for detailed instructions on proper grounding.
Mounting the Lightning Protection Module
The next step in establishing telephone service is mounting the
lightning protection module at the service location. Using the
screws included with the lightning protection module, mount the
module next to or 6 to 8 inches below the network interface box.
