Operating Instructions
Parking
For information on long-term storage, refer to
“Storage”, page 63.
1.
Fold the planter. Refer to “Folding the Planter,”
page 21.
2.
Park the planter on a level, solid area.
3.
Securely block the tires to prevent rolling.
4.
Close all valves on fertilizer system kit if so
equipped.
Refer to Figure 20
5.
Remove the pin holding the parking stand in
the up position. Swing the stand down and pin
the stand in parking position. If the ground is
soft, place a board or plate under the stand.
6.
Raise planter fully so that weight is carried on
all wheels.
7.
Lower the tractor 3-point until the planter is
resting on the parking stand.
8.
Unplug the hydraulic lines from the tractor. Do
not allow hose ends to rest on the ground.
9.
Unplug the planter light cable from the tractor.
10. Unplug monitor harness from console.
11. Unhook the tractor 3-point from the planter
hitch.

DANGER
There is not enough weight on parking stand to anchor
planter. Planter wheels must be blocked when unhitch-
ing from tractor. DO NOT unhitch planter while on a
steep slope.
